Light Night

Sunday 31st October at Selwyn Park late after afternoon to mid evening. As a replacement for Halloween, a wholesome night out for families with lots of games, fun and food.

The churches in Te Awamutu join together for this event for the community of Te Awamutu and each is asked to provide three games and a BBQ  with the people to staff them and the prizes to be given. Rev Steph is on the hunt for  helpers for this event to both contribute with goods as well as time. Small gifts are what is needed. She says its warming to see the children and parents enjoy themselves at the Light Night, getting such pleasure from playing the sort of games we remember from fair grounds and church fetes from many years ago.

PLEASE help to  make this evening a success. Anything you can donate can be left at the parish office.

Youth Group

-Anglican/Presbyterian/Baptist
Friday evenings during school term from 7 - 9 pm at the Baptist Church, Teasdale St
Young people meet for games, fun and some really great teaching.The aim is to provide young people ages 11 to 15 somewhere to learn about Christianity in an interesting and relevant way. We have a leadership of around 15, who give freely of their time, gifting and resources. Currently around 50 - 60 attend each Friday night.
