To all People

 God blesses us so people all over the earth will fear him. Psalm 67:7 NCV

 Whether you realise it or not, showing up at church on Sunday is not the only way to express your love for God. Your life is a living testimony to others. Through your words and actions, you reflect your core beliefs, desires, faith, and fears. When you care for one another person freely rather than out of obligation, you are expressing God’s love. When you tell someone about the reason for the hope you have, you honour God.

Do you view those around you as he views them – with love, respect, and compassion? Do you share your blessings with them so that they will know the Saviour? God knows your heart and how you choose to live each day. Therefore, honour him with everything you say and do so that others may know him and be saved.

 My greatest desire, God is for others to see you in and through my life. Help me to share your love with everyone I meet. Amen

 Our God, be kind and bless us! Be pleased and smile. Then everyone on earth will learn to follow you, and all nations will see your power to save us.

 Psalm 76:1 CEV

A Night time Prayer for Children

Dear God, thank you for today. We are sorry if we have been unkind to anyone. Help us to forgive each other. Thank you for our family and for our friends. Please be with us tonight. Amen

An Exhortation

O God our Father, Help us all through this day so to live that we may bring help to others, credit to ourselves and to the name we bear and joy to those who love us and to Thee.

Help us to be –

Cheerful when things go wrong; persevering when things are difficult, serene when things are irritating.

Enable us to be-

Helpful to those in difficulties;  Kind to those in need; Sympathetic to those whose hearts are sore and sad.

Grant that –

Nothing may make us lose our temper; Nothing may take away our joy; Nothing may ruffle our peace; Nothing may make us bitter towards any man.

So grant that all through this day all with whom we work and all whom we meet may see in us the reflection of the Master, whose we are and whom we seek to serve.

This we ask for thy love’s sake,     Amen

We bring our work to your working hands; We bring our sickness to your healing hands;

We bring our weakness to your strong hands; We bring our sadness to your tender hands;

We bring our suffering to your wounded hands;

We bring our love, our families, and ourselves to your hands to share with you that bread of life which we take from you that we may take your sacramental presence to share with others.

As we take your hands we are to be those hands in the world today.

O most Merciful Redeemer and Friend may we know you more clearly, love you more dearly and follow you more nearly, day by day   Amen
